Hello friends, I was the member of Kuchipudi - My life. Great Kuchupudi Dancer, Achuta Manasa was the owner of this group and Sudheer K (Every Issue) was the Moderator of this group. Since I joined in this group I found this was culturally amazing and society changing.
I asked this question to reply on this topic of "Today what we are missing???" , "We lost great mathematicians and good software engineers in 90's to US. Some gone to UK, Australia and New zealand. After 2000 so many art people like Classical dancers, Classical singers too shifting their homes and providing their arts to NRI's and foreigners.
Now what we have in India, Is India only a Gurukul not an "Art for Society"..." Hence Sudheer K replied for this with diplomatic manner and Thanks for that "Right said Jhonathan... But I beg to defer... It was in the past. But now as far as i have observed the reverse process has started and no one in the present times is looking or interested to go and be in a foreign land.
Because of their step then at that time, most of the foreigners are looking at the mother land of these art forms. It is our duty to spread the best things of our country. They are like ambassadors for this art. We should be proud for they have been able to spread it. In course of time its even their responsibility to spread the message even if they have to spend their whole life time in a foreign land.
But what you said is true to the fact. We shouldn't look at people who have fled to non-native lands. Instead nurture those flowers who have immense talent to showcase these art forms.
Art has a peculiar thing in it... It has no cast, no creed,no race . and is transferable over the horizons... anywhere in this world.. going spiritually even the universe.
I appreciate you r initiation for a discussion on this ground.
THankYou
